Are you a creative youth worker? We want to hear from you!
Youth ministry in the Church of England faces a significant challenge. The church’s disengagement and diminished attendance among young people is striking, which is exacerbated by a lack of resourcing and a lack of youth workers. This challenge is especially apparent in churches within the liturgical and sacramental traditions of the Church of England.
Youth Ministry in Communion (YMIC) is a new project pioneering collaborative and exciting sacramental youth ministry. This cross-parish youth network has been established in London as a pilot project to test ideas and creatively explore sacramental youth work, with the aim of sharing learning and practice across the Church of England.
So far, we have been delivering large youth events, youth residentials, as well as growing youth groups at parish level. We are seeking to hire part-time youth workers to support this project. If you are interested in finding out more or would like to apply, would love to hear from you!
