Youth Ministry in Communion (YMIC) is a growing network of churches collaborating to share the love of God with young people. We are pioneering sacramental and collaborative youth ministry that enables evangelism and growth among young people aged 11-18 in the Church of England's Diocese of London and further afield.

🙏🏾 A brilliant evening taking some of our young people from across YMIC London to Lambeth Palace for the @thykingdomcomeprayer event with Emmaus Gaming. 🎮

Seeing the palace packed with gaming tech was amazing! We also had the much needed opportunity to digitally detox through worship, prayer, and journaling — using a resource created by our very own @jessicaluisa__ with @thisistomclark .

A real highlight was also getting to meet the @archbishopofcanterbury who just happens to be our former Bishop too (and supporter of YMIC)! 🙌

An amazing start to the YMIC Youth Camp 2024 was made yesterday with 32 young people travelling on a coach to the @rockukadventures Center. The young people had a discussion on love followed by an evening campfire with a simple compline service surrounding the bonfire and finishing with marshmallows!!

We welcomed 110+ young people into the church to take part in Laser Tag, Graffiti, Gaming, Discussions on the topic of peace and reconciliation while also having fresh pizza from the Pizza Truck! We were also privileged to have had a special guest The Archbishop of Canterbury @justinwelby

Following her successful detached work in the local area, St George’s saw again around 50 young people attend their youth drop in session, with 15 staying to take part in a new youth club. 🙏🏿Here’s a few of the young people enjoying a game of ‘who am I?’

🎉 This is an exciting chapter for a church previously with no youth provision, and a current attendance of around 3 or 4 young people aged 11-18 on Sundays.
